Hugo Parasol
Having developed a deep interest in experimenting with photographic tools from yesteryear and, at the same time, incorporating modern technology; my work lives in the intersection between traditional and digital visual media.
The resulting imagery is the cross product of my own introspection, and the influences of the environments and communities from which it emerges. It is an expression of everyday life and the beauty of the mundane. It aims to evoke the struggle between getting to know oneself and reconciling this insight with the structures by which we live, while also seeking connection with the viewer through this relatable clash.
